Watched Get the Gringo and Coriolanus.
Gringo was fine but Coriolanus is certainly not a good idea for someone who isn't a native English speaker lol.
I didn't understand most of the scripts.

I watched The Avengers last week but the impression it made on me still last until now; it was a hilariously awesome movie! Robert Downey, Jr. never does disappoint... a perfect role model for extroverts.

The Dictator - Watched this with some friends. Laughed throughout. This is the type of movie I like going to with others.

The Avengers - WOW! Went to watch this by myself. In IMAX 3D. It's the best superhero movie I've ever seen. Incredible action, fun without being cartoonish and with even some depth to the characters. I would not mind seeing this one again.
I went to the last show of the day. It was after 1 in the morning when I got out and there was a light thunderstorm going on. The sky was lit up and the streets were flooded and deserted (can happen at the same time). It was perfect!

Men in Black 3 was so good, and I'm fairly selective with saying a movie is good. Best one in the series for sure. Didn't think I'd like it with the time traveling, but I'm impressed. Definitely can't accuse the director of milking the series.

Also, just saw Degrassi High: School's Out, which is basically a TV movie finale of Degrassi High. I haven't really seen that many, but it was pretty good. I'd recommend catching Degrassi Junior High and Degrassi High before seeing it to make sense of the characters; btw all three items are available free from Hulu.

The last movie I enjoyed watching was 'Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai' starring Forrest Whitaker with a brilliant soundtrack by RZA of Wu-Tang Clan. Although the story is very serious and poignant, it also has some scenes which made me laugh out loud. The last movie I saw at the cinema was 'Drive'. Totally gripping with terrific acting and minimal dialogue.

Snow White was okay...
Kristen Stewart just isn't a good actress, I don't understand what's appealing about her, although she's probably a decent person IRL... I just don't like her acting

I really wanna give this movie a 6 out of 10 because it was so boring at times but it gets a 7 out of 10 instead thanks to the awesome set design, exquisite costumes and some interesting uses of special FX...

watched that Iron Sky. It were good, Julia Dietze has helped me totally see why Sol likes the Nazi uniforms now

might be easier to ask for another job in the cinema!

there's a new Tarentino film coming out, called Django Unleashed, you guys seen anything about that?

Prometheus was like an Omega 4 Relay; you don't know what's on the other side... and you'll never really know.
Too many questions, not enough answers.
but it was good.
but I left feeling kinda disappointed.
but I'd see it again...

i went and saw prometheus. its definitely a prequel to the alien series... but its very vague. it presents as many new questions as it does answer old ones, if not more. it was still good though. just a really odd way of making a prequel to a series. between this and mass effect 3 i wonder if the new trend in sci-fi will be make things vague.

well you know they'll turn this into a trilogy if it makes enough money... but Ridley's tied up with a few other projects so a sequel to Prometheus wouldn't be made until another 3 or 4 years has passed I imagine...

I wouldn't think of it as a prequel though, it's in the same universe for sure as you could see at the very end there of Prometheus with the final incident on the "life boat" (and because we all know that there was an Engineer in Alien) but there's still a gap between the two movies, hence why I think that they'll turn this into a trilogy if it makes enough money... and David (Michael Fassbender) was alive at the end; Michael Fassbender = ticket sales at the box office these days, so why not carry him over into the 2nd and 3rd movies...

it explains the space jockey and the origins of the alien species and potentially of humanity, but its on a completely different planet than the one from alien. i think everyone thought that it was going to show how the ship on that planet got there. instead it was an explanation for where the alien species came from and what the space jockey was, but thats it. there was a bunch of ships on different planets and this is the story of one of those. its just an odd way of doing a prequel, and it ended up being very vague.

but it was beautiful to look at. I mean for a sci-fi junkie, watching Prometheus was like watching a good porno.
The scenery was breathtaking, those bio-suits were so cool (they reminded me of Gordon Freeman's HEV suit), the Prometheus itself reminded me of the Firefly (I figured that that was like a "hats off" to the Firefly series eh) and they did a fair job with the CGI stuff... although the character Peter Weyland (Guy Pearce) looked really fake in his "old man" make-up... they should've just casted an older man for that part *smh*

oh yea i completely agree. it was a visually amazing movie. i still liked it and could easily watch it again. in fact i want to watch it again to see if i pick up on anything i may have missed. and im sure ill pick it up on bluray when it comes out. im just still a little disappointed with the way they went about explaining the space jockey and the aliens species. i feel like i am asking just as many new questions as answers i am getting for old ones. thats not always a bad thing, but i think in this case it borderline is. it was interesting either way. i want a sequel or another movie in this universe that explains more.

He's awesome. No other character could dish out so much abuse and still make you like him.

I saw this documentary a few months ago about the real thing. Its quality film-making. A cut above the usual boot-camp stuff.
